An Organization of former TWA Hostesses and Flight Attendants

As former TWA Hostesses and Flight Attendants, we welcome your interest and hope you will join us!
We enjoy friendships and shared memories of the best airline ever, Trans World Airlines.

Browse through our site to see pictures of some of our prized vintage uniform collection.  We often hold fashion shows and meet & greet events to display our collection. Many TWA cities and museums have our uniforms and other airline memorabilia on permanent display.
TWA Flight Attendant Wings
A little history:
TWA Clipped Wings was established in 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri by a group of former hostesses with the idea of meeting socially from time to time to keep in contact with one another. Credit for the name of TWA Clipped Wings goes to Leah French Conquest, one of the charter members.

TWA Clipped Wings International was incorporated on November 19, 1957. In 1961, TWA officially endorsed TWA Clipped Wings. Non-profit status 501(c)(3) was granted in 1965.

Today, we are closing down our International Organization, while maintaining friendships at the local levels.  We appreciate your interest and encourage you to visit and support the TWA Museum in Kansas City, MO. which maintains the legacy of TWA for future generations.
